The problem I have is that I would like to be able to configure the i.Sell application server and the HTTP server without having to NFS mount the installation file systems. iSell says it needs to know the installation path of Netscape so it can modify the obj.conf and other files. In addition, Netscape wants to know the installation path of iSell. Since the installations are on separate machines, the only way we can get the two to talk to each other is by an NFS mount from app server to web server and vice versa. This type of setup severely limits scalability and failover. Let me know if you have any experience with this type of setup.
