Why it takes long

Hello , I am using IDS 7.31 and connect to the server using telnet by I-sql . When I want to exit from I-sql environment , it takes me very long to come to the unix prompt . I have taken back up of logs and freed them a lot . Still it takes long to come to unix environment . Could someone pl. suggest . Regards, Sonal Gaba
