Internet Foundation 2000.....linux?

I am a long-time Informix DBA and currently use 7.31.UC2 and am quite happy with it. However, can someone give me a quick overview of the current/upcoming server offerings from Informix? Is this Internet Foundation 2000 a combination of IDS and Universal Server? Are all of the product lines merging into this new product? How does Metacube and Red Brick fit into the whole thing? Is that a separate server product, or does Red Brick/Metacube just ride on top of IDS? Is the general idea that everyone will eventually migrate to Foundation 2000 away from IDS? Should I migrate to Foundation 2000?? What is the diff between ver 8 and ver 9??? What exactly IS ver 8 and ver 9???? I read that Informix is now offering Foundation 2000 in Linux. True?? Any help appreciated. Allen
