I downloaded the DServer under the TNT program and am having trouble
getting the database to come "online".
My setup is WinNT 4.0WS SP3 - standalone - no domain controller - server
and client to execute on the same system.
Install used default values or values offered by the install - install
routine gave no error messages - but did not update etc/services (please
confirm that the entry should be "turbo 1526/tcp").
The NT services are all "Started".
In IECC, I can connect (log in as Informix) to the database, but I cannot
change the mode to online. I get an Informix Neighborhood warning: "An
internal exception occurred on the server. Specific information about
the exception is unknown."
The D:\\IFMXDATA\\ol_azure\\rootdbs_dat.000 file has a filesize of 0K.
If I try to create a new database in IECC, I get an SQL error -908
referencing isqct03a.dll.
I am getting no information in any of the log files.
Any suggestions on how to proceed? Have I missed a step?
Thanks in advance,
Gerald
FWIW, here is the info that I get out of IECC:
