Need to find a Financial Database

The organization I work for has a requirement for a database program to monitor purchases made on approximately 150 accounts. Essentially it must allow us to enter the names of suppliers and list items purchased from them. Each transaction must be separate, however, the amount of money left in the account must be updated after each entry total. Individuals responsible for each account should also have an easy and convenient method whereby they can call up their accounts and view a list of transactions and the balance. As we often purchase from the same suppliers, the names of suppliers must be maintained in another database. Furthermore, entry of new suppliers should automatically be "copied" to the supplier database when entered. We must also maintain information and details relating to shipping and receiving which involves names and addresses of recipients, shipping costs and the ability to print shipping invoices, labels and on custom forms. For shipments received, we must be able to track orders placed against items received to ensure the person who placed the initial order gets it as soon as possible. I know that we can accomplish these tasks with any one of a dozen relational database programs. We are currently using a custom made program on a VAX computer, however, the VAX is being decommissioned in August and, although we have the resources, do not have the time to design a custom application to run on a Novell Network using PC workstations running Windows (or DOS, if necessary) before then. Can anyone recommend a canned package that we can configure to meet our requirements or, at least, point me in the right direction where I can make an inquiry?
