Informix 2000 9.1 and SCO OSR 5.0.X

Hi - I have just installed (via the generous grant program from Informix) Informix IDS.2000, version 9.21 on a machine running SCO OSR 5.0.2. It seems to fire up the server, via oninit, but dbaccess cannot connect to the server. I believe something about the sqlhosts and This is on a university machine, which will be replaced with one running OSR 5.0.5 in about a month. I'm just trying to feel my way through the software now. onconfig files is messed up, which probably would account for about 90 percent of what people fuss about here. Is anyone running this Informix under SCO ? If so, would you be so kind as to send me an email, please? I feel like I'm within about five keystrokes of having the whole thing work.
