The answer is probably is 2 places (we dont have a DG). 1. The release notes normally list the OS configuration parameters that you may need to change if you have this problem. 2. Informix support are normally quick on these - well thats how I found them. You need to increase the value of the IFMX_HPKAIO_NUM_REQ shell variable. Default (I think) is 1000; we use 3000. export it as user INFORMIX (set it up in your profile) and restart the server.
