RE: onweb

I downloaded the DEC/Compaq version from intraware and unzipped it using NetZip 6.30.45 (which I believe was purchased; sorry). I wasable to install OnWeb or ISA, but the README in the zipped file seemed to have some missing CR characters, so I had to edit the file for readability. Maybe intraware needs to ensure that the *tar file is okay before ftp'ing and zipping in Windows. I couldn't get unzip, or info-zip or any kind of UNIX extraction to work. I was able to use win-zip to extract at least some of the files. I don't recall if the win-zip failed with the checksum error mentioned or if the subsequent steps failed because of missing files. Intraware was no help at all with this. I sent a detailed message telling step by step what had been done (including the failed attempt with info-zip) and their reply was, "We use info-zip." Plain and simple, short and sweet. I like that in an answer. carlos
