I got my information from an Informix consultant who has worked with Illustra for a long time. I opened a call with Informix and then asked the tech support person to confirm the PLS problem on Irix 6.2 described to me by the consultant. He did. I honestly am not 100% sure the problem is due to the PLS data blade but it's the leading culprit. It would be great if you could find out the status. I'm also interested in the status of a known problem I've personally encountered with correlated inserts in Illustra when the table has a PLS index. And is there any news on a version of the PLS data blade that will index formatted (PDF, Word, HTML) documents?
