Error -4339 with 4GL

We have a SCO box with Online 5.0 and 4gl 4.x Occasionaly during large postings we will get the following error: -4339 4GL Has run out of data space memory. This is a posting routine with about16000 postings. (Fourgen G/L Journal Posting) The program is written to begin/commit transactions during every posted transaction. This would basically mean about 7000 transactions. The program dies when the error occurs. However when you restart it, it continues with the uncommitted transactions. Any idea why the -4339 occurs.
