My program is a 4gl executable with ESQL/C functions linked in. The ESQL/C functions use stdio routines for i/o. Is this ok/not-ok ? It displays a menu and a blank form, calls a C function, then uses printf() to send status messages to stdout before returning. Instead of getting proper CR/LF action, I am only getting a LF. I think the i4gl program sets up the tty for its own use. The output looks like this: First status message. Next status message. Next message... This seems like it has a simple solution, but I couldn't find it in the FM. Any suggestions ? FYI: Compiled 4gl version 4.0?, on SCO-ODT Unix V Console, Compaq Deskpro 486/33L Thanks beforehand. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Mitch Amiano Current Work Phone: 477-3506 | | Software Contractor | | Rochester, NY | | 716-226-2024 | | | | "We were having an ugly face contest, but we're done now.
