Do you Yahoo!?
Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo! Mail beta.
http://new.mail.yahoo.com
what happened...
looks like you did not complete a restore properly.
What version are you using????
if >= 7.3 then you could try
onbar -r -e -p
(otherwise.... hum oninit -r.....)wait until the engine is in rec mode.
Then type onmode -m
WAIT UNTIL the engine is online; it will start clearing logs at that
time
of course you may be unlucky and have to rollforward a # of log.logs
instead of bringing the engine online using onmode -m
How is your backup created??????

Checking database partition index...FAILED usually means something's wrong with the root chunk, probably with its flags.
What's oncheck -pr telling on this?
This might well be the result of an incomplete restore.
