sdk and locale

Hi all, I'm trying to make the client sdk to work with my database. I installed the sdk on windows 98 and when I configure the environment in the Odbc driver setup it complains about the locales: "The displayed locale and codeset have not been found on the client machine... Please install the locales." I read the GLS documentation and did not find the answer to this problem. Note: I can access my database without problem from the Dbping utility. I checked the INFORMIXDIR variable and it is set correctly. The default installation puts: en_US.CP1252 in the Client and Database Locale. What must I do to make this work ???????? How do I install locales ????????? Luc Chatelain
