HI,
A customer encounter the lock wait problem, and want to capture the SQL that
holding the lock.
Do anybody has any experience using "onmode -I 244 0 , onmode -I 243 0" in the
production system with SHMEMDUMP=0?
I am afraid that dumping the AF file will block the online transaction.
thanks for your time.
From support document:
When the af file is created the server can hang momentarily. The hang duration
depends on the speed of the computer and the size of the shared memory
Informix is using.
From memory, the AF file will still be generated with DUMPSHMEM=0 but not the
shared memory dump.
