You are probably referring to IECC. Now, Informix ships two products
that "might" be considered a GUI-like version of dbaccess.
1) DB Administrator runs on Windows and contains:
a) Table Editor and
b) SQL Editor
These used to be components of IECC.
2) Informix Server Administrator allows SQL commands to
be entered through its Web interface. The SQL output is
scrollable.

Well... there is a sorta GUI version of dbaccess.
Just run 'dbaccess' w/o any arguments. You get
a 'full screen' interface (probably not exactly
what you'd call "graphical" though). It has
an SQL editor inside.

No, he is refering to the SQL Editor which used to be part of a product
called Informix Database Administrator. It gave you a Windows-based
editor that would connect to any Informix server and run sql. I don't
think it is available any more.
They then replaced it with IECC which isn't as good.
