NLS code-set-conversion to GLS problem!

Hello, my problem is: I have mbs installed on a SGI INDIGO with Informix Server version 7.1 with 4GL ( used by mbs ). Now i have to connect with mbs to a new Informix-Server ( Informix Dynamic Server 7.3 ) on a linux machine. The problem is, that GLS was introduced with Informix Server 7.2. When i try to open my database on the 7.3 server i get the message that there is a problem with code-set-conversion. I read the documentation several times, but i can't figure out how set the enviroment variables. On the client-site i have the following enviroment-variables set: DBNLS=2 LANG=de Maybe the correct code-set-conversion file is missing? Can someone help me with this? Thanks in advance. Thomas

There was an error in database itself, which prevented correct login with mbs. Thomas
