I've already made them in your ONCONFIG. But you definitely need more
buffers.

Hey Obnoxio, don't know if you remember a previous exchange of emails with me before... We were having trouble with our Sun 450s crashing for no apparent reason. Then I increased the SHMMAX parameter and everything worked fine. Our database has been up for 145 days straight since then. I was just wondering if that fixed your problem too? I've heard rumor that people have been having strange crashing problems with a certain Sun processor with similar symptoms to what we were both experiencing several months ago. Hope all is well.
