Looking for feedback on Illustra, Datablades
Posted in 1996
Hello,
We are currently working on a feature article covering the Illustra
database system and the Datablade technology. The article focuses
mainly on how Web developers are using Illustra to solve site
development and management problems.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who uses Illustra and the
Datablade modules--particularly the Web Datablade. We are also
interested in how developers are using the other Datablades, of
course, and in how developers are combining Datablades to achieve the
results they want.
If you have previous experience integrating Informix, Oracle, Sybase,
etc. with Web servers, so much the better--any information you could
provide on how Illustra compares in terms of reliability, ease of
integration, etc. will be helpful.
Please reply by email, unless of course you don't mind making your
opinons public. All comments will be kept unattributed, unless you
grant permission for us to use them with attribution.
Thanks again for your help. We want this feature to provide accurate,
timely information to Web developers and programmers, and users are a
source of information we simply cannot get anywhere else.
