We are using 4GL 7.2. I really really really need to find out how much space is left in the infamous Global Descriptor Table for a program. Does any one know how? Thank you!!!

There is no simple way to find out. You could probably infer how many global descriptor entries are in use by a judicious mixture of rdsscan (from the rdslink/rdslib archive in the IIUG software archive) and perl/awk to post process the output. But it won't be easy, even with those tools to give you a significant boost. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v1.00.PC1 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
