oninit -s and cpu utilization

Hello. My system is very slow, it's running ncr mp-ras unix 3.02 and informix ids 7.30. One thing that struck me is I have several oninit processes that have cpu time's in the hundreds of minutes, this strikes me as high. The system/engine was bounced on Wed so its only been up for 48 hours. Should I look further into this as a problem or not?
