Truncation of a string

Hi All Is that possible to truncate a string in Stored Procedure. I am getting some string from a table.I need to remove all empty spaces from the right side. How can I do this? Regards Igor

Hi Igor, use the trim function, or charcol[1,10] if you want the first 10 chars or substr, available in IDS 7.3x Regards Thomas
