I have a question...
I am trying to set up a new server on 9.4 FC5 (HP-UX 11.11)
My initial dbsapce is smaller than 2GB. That is the only dbspace
created.
When I try to run onmode -BC 2 I get the following error
Illegal change of BigChunk status attempted
quitting. . .
Is there something I need to do when I initialize the instance to
enable
big chunks? Maybe a new onconfig parameter that I am missing?
thanks.

Sounds like UC5 updated the reserved pages without reading them
correctly.
That's not right.
Fortunatly, the logic for big chunk is really at the dbspace level.
The BC2
stuff is really to indicate that the customer is ready to commit to the
BC
format.

onmode -BC 1?
