Hi, as far as I know the default behavior on DEC Alpha platforms is to report any unaligned memory access (the access itself will be trapped and handled without causing any other problem than the ugly message). I believe that the release notes for DEC Alpha contain the command that can be used to basically switch of those messages. Please check the release notes. Hope this helps, Heiko Rekaish Bhardwaj wrote: > Hello everyone. > Getting the following error when doing an unload from a table. > Table is created, has a single record inserted. > Unaligned access pid = 63186 <isql> va=0x1400a020c pc=0x12010028c > ra=0x120100284 > inst=0xb40a0000 > Unaligned access pid = 63186 <isql> va=0x1400a020c pc=0x12010029c > ra=0x120100284 > inst=0xa5ce0000 > > Machine is a DEC Alpha V5.0 Running Informix V7.31 FC6 > > Any ideas anyone.
