It sounds like you are setting the processor number to start binding to. Processors are normally number from 0, so processor 0 will be CPU #1. There are two (well three actually) parameters to set: AFF_NPROCS - Number of CPUs to bind to AFF_SPROC - CPU number to start binding to Both of these parameters will be ignored if you don't set this one to 1: MULTIPROCESSOR - 0=single processor, 1=multiprocessor Hope that helps, -- Mark. +----------------------------------------------------------+-----------+ |Mark D.
