RE: IDS 7.31.Txx Windows NT Alaramprogram

Hi, I had lots of trouble getting the alarm program to work for backing up logical logs. After much consultation with Informix support, the log_full.bat that installed with IDS7.31 turned out to be utterly useless. They supplied me with a totally different log_full.bat file that works - and looks nothing like the original! the original was full of lines like >>>if "%ONBAR_STUB%" == "YES" goto LOG<<<< but %ONBAR_STUB% was never set. Does your log_full.bat have three lines that are variations on this line? I can post you the replacement file if you like - although not sure of the legality of it - is full of big stuff about copyright and non disclosure - but does that apply if what they give everyone with the install does not work? Or maybe Informix should post the replacement somewhere? Then again your problem could relate to your 'path' setting in onconfig - this I don't know about. I was only working with the original setup on IDS7.31TC5 for Workgroups on NT4sp6a. Regards, Bryce Stenberg.
