Re: Importing data from Informix to MSSQL2k5 fails

You may be getting trucation errors. In your Data Flow task for your source task you may need to redirect errors into a flat file for truncation errors or ignore truncation. Ignore only if the source table varchar value is smaller than the one you have in your destination. You can do this in your source file task under "error outputs" The other thing to watch out for is character set translations. i.e 1252 to Unicode or visa versa. They need to be the same from source to destination and that includes the SQL Server table.(Depending on you using Varchar or nvarchar in Sql Server) I would help more but do not understand German so is difficult to help anymore. One last thing try using OLE connections but you will need to run a script on the sysmaster table on the Informix Server.
