hi, service and port 1526 can't release

hi friends, Recently i installed IBM IDS 9.3 on Win 2k platform. Everything were sucessfull. and did some practive on it. But after i uninstall the IBM IDS and all other relatied clients. and tried to install the same again, I cant use the same port and service i,e, Turbo and port number 1526. How can i release the same port and service to use it again for new installation. Waiting for your help and suggestion and instructions. regards ZAHOOR sending to informix-list

Run: "netstat -a" from command-line. Check if port 1526 is LISTENING. Make sure, you have rebooted your box after uninstalling IDS.
