The server should run on a Linux >machine (Intel based). Does this seem reasonable? Or does SE get to its >limits in this scenario? As long as none of the individual .dat or .idx files exceeds 2GB. A .dat file contains all the data for a table, a .idx contains *all* the indexes for a table in one file. That's an absolute limit. You might start having regular index corruption once a .dat or .idx file exceeds 1GB. Your user base is well within SE's capabilities on a Linux box. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
