SDS - AIX

Hi, We will set up a new machine and would like to keep things already prepared to activate an SDS in the future. AIX 6.1 , Storage IBM DS4700. Using VG / LV raw devices. As far I remember , on Linux, we need to configure the VG (or LV... not sure) to active shared access. (this is to avoid corrupt the meta data...) On AIX need something like this? Now a question what I need to make to our AIX admin... How make AIX "recognize" the VG on the shared LUN? (I think.. some command like "vgscan" on linux) There is some specific article about set up AIX environment to SDS ??? Regards Cesar
