Engine Upgrade with Enterprise Replication running

Hello learned colleagues. I have a number of boxes running 10.00.UC3 on RHEL4 with Enterprise Replication doing it's thing between them. I have been seeing a number of odd things happening on the systems lately, including some engine crashes and some hangs. The ultimate goal is to move to Informix 11, but that requires a reasonable testing project and can only be done here middle of the year I'm after some advice as to upgrading to 10.00.UC7 or UC8 as this should require far less testing. Can I just do an in place upgrade of the binaries and start the engine (leaving ER running all the way through) or do I need to re-create the replicates after the upgrade? Obviously I'll try on a test server first - but thought I gather a bit of opinion first. Other hiccups, yes, but no ER issues. Keith
