I will also take in account not classic Ifx 4GL but Ifx Dynamic 4GL powered by 4js, which is much cheaper as original 4js. And now I'm working with an spaniard tool called PARADIGMA which is a C translator tool and allows connections to Ifx, Oracle a SQL server. It works both thin-cliente and aplication server ways. I've got now about 45 NT clients working with s SCO with 256 K ram (with 2 instances) and also with an NT server. And D4GL runs quite well.
