Nothing. When the esql script was rewritten for 7.2x (they pretty much
create a new one every other version change - don't ask me why!)
recognition of the '-c' compile-only flag was lost and esql ALWAYS
supplies libraries to the C compiler, hence the message. Just make the
following changes if this gets really annoying (and if you are
supporting many programmers, as I do, believe me it can get annoying):
after the line:
STATOPT=
add:
COMPONLY=0
in the case statement, say before:
-shared )
insert:
-c )
COMPONLY=1
A="$A -c"
shift
;;
before:
if test "$STATOPT"
add:
if test $COMPONLY -eq 1
then
exec $CC $INCLUDE -I$INFDIR/incl/esql $A
else
and finally before:
STAT=$?
insert:
fi
I think they fixed this in the ESQL 7.3 and SDK 2.x scripts but I am
not certain.
