Hi Everyone
I got problem when try to dbimport a database which is dbexported from
informix on NT into IDS 2000 on Solaris.
The error message of dbimport is:
load file has different number of columns than table.
I check the files under *.exp in solaris, exactly the same size as *.exp in
NT, I copy through use FTP.
What is wrong here?
thanks for help.
Merry christmas and happy new year.

CRLF vs LF? Did you copy the text files to NT with a binary mode copy?
If so,
the lines are missing the carriage return that NT expects to be at the
end of the line, along with the LF that Unix puts there anyway. I don't
know for sure that's the trouble, but it could be. [...it's nearly
Christmas; time to be charitable and not knock NT, just for once...]
