concat variables nchar , varchar , BLOBS

How do I do to connect variables datatype nchar, varchar or blobs? For instance: I have a loop I wanted that to each passage It went connecting: I declare a variable calling myvar and each step of the loop went increasing: example: First pass myvar = ABC " Second pass myvar = ABCD " Third pass myvar = ABCDE " and so on, like me I implement this? 2) which the best way to come back data of a Stored Procedure for VB, I am using return Wvar1,Wvar2, Wvar3 with summarizes, but it is very slow, when I rotate this procedure of DBACCESS it is fast, but inside of VB it is very slow, If somebody can order a clue I thank
