Michigan Informix User Group (MIUG) NOTICE OF MEETING Tuesday, May 21, 1996, 6:00 PM Best Western Hotel, Livonia, Michigan MIUG meetings are held every other month, usually on the third Tuesday of the month. The next meeting will be on Tuesday May 21, 1996, at the Best Western Hotel, Livonia (on 6 Mile Road, just east of I-275). Next Meeting: ------------- The topic of the July 16th meeting will be "The Informix User" and will feature discussions that will help inform today's Informix programmers. Discussions will include "An overview of the 1996 Informix World Wide User Conference" and "Ask the experts" (a chance ask some of your most difficult questions). DISCOUNTS! ---------- All MIUG members will be automatically registered to receive a $200 (per person) discount to this year's Conference in Chicago, Illinois, July 9 through 12 (This includes all employees of member companies). Please contact MIUG to get a IIUG membership number (this is required to recieve the discount). Volunteers ---------- If you are interested in being one of the 'guess panelists' for the 'ask the expert' session at the July 16th meeting please do not hesitate to call or send an email! Training -------- The Michigan Informix User Group is always looking for ways to train and inform its members regarding new and current technologies as they relate to developing applications using the Informix tools and database. Summer Barbecue --------------- Mark your calendars for July 19th! Pyramid Technologies will be hosting a special 'Afternoon on the beach' barbecue. Look for more information regarding this event in future bulletins. Membership dues --------------- Following fees or dues are required to participate in MIUG activities: o Individual Member - $25.00 annually o Corporate Membership - $100.00 annually. There will be TWO liaisons for each organization. It is the liaisons responsibility to distribute the notification of the MIUG Meeting Agendas.
