Cobol -vs- C
Posted in 1995
Hey Folks, Thought you all might like to hear this one in reference to the discussion about COBOL and C. Just ran across an ad from Computer Associates for a product called CA-Visual Realia This is a database independent GUI development environment which supports client/server architecture and uses COBOL. They advertise Client/server, Team development, Interactive graphical debugger, Configuration management, GUI Forms Painter, SQL preprocessor, and ODBC. I just wish they had guts enough to actually call it Visual COBOL... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Informix Premier Var -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Miguel A. Caldera Antares Development Corp.
