Try: ftp.mathcs.emory.edu Yes, indeed. There are files in the directories dedicated to source, but there are also many articles in the mailing list/newsgroup archive that contain code that I haven't had the time to extract. If you're looking for a particluar function, check the article subject index. Below is my list of known archive sites. I also know that at least one user group runs a BBS, but I hesitate to mention it without checking with them first. If anyone has any type of archive site they want added to the list, let me know. Good luck, Walt. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Informix Archive Sites Last Changed: August 18, 1993 The following is a list of sites known to contain Informix-related archives or files. FTP Mail Servers FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol, a method of copying files over the Net similar to file up/down-loading on a bulletin board system. You must be connected directly to the Internet to be able to use it. If you don't have such a connection, you can still retrieve files from an FTP archive via e-mail using one of the sites on the Internet that provide mail servers for use by anyone who can't FTP. Such a server acts as an intermediary that takes your request by e-mail, gets the files you want via FTP from the site that you specify, then e-mails those files back to you. One of the best known FTP mail servers is based at the DEC Western Research Lab in Palo Alto, CA, USA. For more information, send a message consisting of the word "help" to "ftpmail@decwrl.dec.com". For more detailed information, get the file "/pub/informix/doc/archives" from mathcs.emory.edu.
