Hi, Do you know a tool to view the database in a graphic mode ? Thanks in advance. Enviado desde mi iPhone
What do you mean by "view the database in a graphic mode"? Do you want to see the table schema? An ER Diagram of the schema? Values in graphs? Or just a pretty screen to display rows and columns in a modern GUI fashion? The answer is yes to all, but without knowing what you are looking for we can't make a good recommendation. Art Art S. Yes, an ER diagram of the Dbshema to view the relations between tables. OK here are a couple that I know work with Informix (most ER tools do BTW):
Datanamic's Dezign for Database (you can import your schema from a dbschema
or myschema output file and output an Informix compatible schema file. It
does not connect directly to the server for Informix.) www.datanamic.com
AGS's Server Studio - You can download this one and use its basic
functionality for free (that includes the ER Diagrammer IB). You will also
get full Enterprise functionality for a 30 day trial. Server Studio and
its companion product (Sentinel - for monitoring your server) only support
Informix. Server Studio also has all of the server management features you
need to stop using the on* commandline tools to manage your server.

ERWin supports Informix.
IBM Data Studio supports Informix.
Of these I like Server Studio best for its ability to automatically import
your schema and to manage your database servers. I like Dezign for
Database because you can use it to design a database graphically and
produce an SQL schema DDL script as well as reverse engineer an existing
database.
