Re: Failsafe Informix on Solaris 2.6

Mike, We had a cluster system, similar to your setup, and had so many problems with the Cluster software not working with current versions of software that we needed that we finally had the cluster software taken off! Solaris 7 was not supported, the newer version of netscape was not supported, etc....... We also had lots of file corruption problems stemming from the cluster software. The final step was the price!! yuck!! I hope you have better luck than we did. Our sun boxes spend so little time down that the price and problems we were having just did not justify the cost... What version of cluster are you running? Have you spoke with Sun tech support?
