Re: SIS: So this is how IBM trolls newsgroups ?
Posted in 2008
This thread contains no technical content. It is a personal flame war between a poster calling himself "Splintter" and Ian Michael Gumby over claims about who did or didn't get fired from Informix/IBM, laced with crude insults. Gumby tries to steer it toward why IBM sales reps don't promote IDS to new customers, but that question goes unanswered; an IBM employee (Serge Rielau) simply points Splintter at IBM's Business Conduct Guidelines. No technical problem is raised and no resolution is recorded. Safe to skip.

The two things are by no means mutually exclusive, Gumby. Anyone who has ever worked with or for IBM will be aware of the strategic outsourcing division where lots of people work with Oracle. Or had you forgotten? Or just digressed? :o) -- Cheers, Obnoxio the Clown http://obotheclown.blogspot.com

Is Gumby wife affected same way? I have assume that it is because there IS a man that know everything about everything! That very attractive to me. Did you ever know Mike Segel? He remind me of you. Poor splinter, Just doesn't like it when someone questions why isn't the IBM S&D (sales) promoting IDS to their customers? Now I do know that Jerry K. and his team have made a real effort trying to "edjucate" the sales force. (He even took offense to some comments I made about the lack of effort to "edjucate" dem sales critters.) So rather than add to the conversation, poor ol' splitner wants to waste time and bandwidth complaining about the size of his pecker and his lack of a love life. Now I do feel sorry for the little pecker. Maybe spliter should try UPDATE STATISTICS? Yet I digress. Lets talk about why the sales reps are ineffective in beating the bush and finding net new IDS customers? And Jerry Hamilton, no, you're not a net new IDS customer, so I'm sure your IBM sales team does talk to you about IDS. ;-) Oh and I shouldnt have said bush. That might have aroused the simpleton splintar. You STILL can't answer those questions that simple. As someone has suggested directly me, "someone has finally scared Gumby...". Since you won't answer two simple questions, one must agree. And - it seem that Serge has crush on you Gumby. Poor Gumby wife. Splintter-me-so-horny-for-Gumby
LOL... Seems like you need to pay attention to what Serge says. And yeah, if you really *are* an IBMer. -G > From: splintter@ymail.com> Subject: Re: SIS: So this is how IBM trolls newsgroups ?> Date: Tue, 26 Aug 2008 13:50:08 -0700> To: informix-list@iiug.org> > On Aug 26, 4:09 pm, Serge Rielau <srie...@ca.ibm.com> wrote:> > Splintter,> >> > Assuming you truly are an IBMer:http://w3.ibm.com/ibm/documents/corpdocweb.nsf/ContentDocsByTitle/IBM...> > Please read Section 3.2> >> > Cheers> > Serge> >> > --> > Serge Rielau> > DB2 Solutions Development> > IBM Toronto Lab> > Gumball -> > I simply ask questions about your time at IBM and Informix?
