Oh sorry just to notice this e-mail now. The thing is that I give up trying to install IDS on Vista... even IDS 11.5 TC1DE who is supposed to support Vista. I think that what guy said is true: Vi$ta-crap HOME isnt tested very well for IDS 11. I think the way to go for Vista is by using ultimate... Certainly the 11.50 installer has been improved since 11.10 (which is a nightmare btw) but it still has problems I don't have the time to care about... So when I have some time I'll try to install IDS11.5 TC1 Enterprise on this Vi$sta-crap HOME just to see how things go... Hello. I'm just installed IDS11.5 on V= ista Ultimate. After installing Vista, before wi= ndows update or after service pack 1, I installed ids 11.5 as administrator= . It work fine. 1- Install Vista = ; 2- Install Service Pack 1 (With SP1, you don't need to turn off= firewall advanced features) 3- Enable Administr= ator account 4- Logon as Administrator 5- Run IDS installer. I suposed that ultimate has less trouble ... good to know... I'd wish Home-Premium was the same process... but it is not ...
