Informix Record Count with VB 6.0

Informix Record Count Does anyone have problems getting the record count when using VB 6.0 with Informix? If I use : cursor location = aduseclient cursor type = all the various options I am able to get the record count But I cannot move next in my recordset Error message "Multi-step operation generated errors" If I use cursor location = aduseserver cursor type = all the various options I get a record count of -1 But I can move next in my recordset I don't have the above problems with Access and SQL Server. Thanks in advance for any help.
