Does this work also if i restore the database from tape to bcv with
"onbar" ? For a test, i tried to
roll forward the logs written in production on the backup server. This
failed, because the backup server doesn't know about these logs.
Therefore i wanted to import the "ixbar" file.

Yes, provided you have the production ixbar in place on the test server, and
you have the OB2BAR ... env variables set appropriately.
I've never tried it though.
