However, you have two basic strategies: use LRU_MIN/MAX to get the writes taking place often and continuously, or set them high (70/80), have long checkpoints, but possibly better overall throughput. Curved ball: have you considered getting your ETL tool to dump a flat file and use HPL to load it? >UC3 and using Informatica as my ETL tool.
