Daniel, In a market where 40+% profit margin is the norm investing every $$ Informix earns back into Informix would be considered big investment. That is NOT what I call milking a cash cow. W.r.t. vision. IMs vision is the Information Server. Food for thought: Teradata, Netezza, Datalegro had all IOD Expo booths being "very good IM business partners" When you look at the acquisitions of Ascential, Filenet, ...
