Re: DSA vs Online Workgroup

Nil, The differences between the WGS and DSA is that WGS does not support table fragmentation, PDQ and Continous Data Replication. These features would not normally be required in workgroup environments. If it is an Enterprise environment then DSA is recommended. Administration has certainly been made easier in WGS. Also Netscape FastTrack Server, Netscape Navigator Gold and Informix client connectivity are bundled in. WGS has recently been released on Sun Solaris 2.5. The other Unix platforms are to be release soon. On the NT rawdisks, multiple instances, On-Archive, Processor Affinity, Process Ageing are not supported. But then most of these are b'coz of the architecture of NT itself. Multiprocessors are certainly supported.
