Sorry, I guess I left that crucial info out, eh? I run an IAEC (Informix training center) so I get early versions of training material. This is covered in the newest version of the Managing and Optimizing Databases course. Presumably it will also be in the 7.3 doc, once that makes an appearance. Of other interesting note: the 1.8 version of the Informix CD DOC now appears to contain all Informix product docs.
