When I try to run the CLI demo programs 1. demoodbc 2.adhoc It throws back this error: ./demoodbc INTERSOLV, Inc. ODBC Sample Application. ./demoodbc: will connect to driver demo ld.so.1: ./demoodbc: fatal: relocation error: file /opt/informix/lib/esql/libixgen.so: symbol gl_setextfunc: referenced symbol not found Killed I am not able to know whay is this error comming. I even tried debbuging the demoodbc program.....I found that It throws back this error when It executes the SQLCOnnect ODBC call. The missing function looks as though it should be in libixglx.so. Normally, the recommendation is to use the esql script to get the libraries listed correctly. Given that you're using CLI (ODBC), I'm not sure what the correct fix is. It's tempting to add -lixglx to the link line. It might cure the problem. But it's a hack. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
