Procedures with and external_name column filled in are simply ones written in "C" or Java and not necessarily system procedures. Similarly, any system delivered procedures written in SPL (such as the one you mention) will not have an external_name. Practically the only way to tell which are system provided and which are user procs is to create an empty database and see what the highest procid is in there. Any procids greater than that are either user routines or were added later when a datablade was instantiated on first use. Art Art S.
