RE: Slow Connection from clients

Why do you ask me that. Anyone can own a DNS server. Use this to control your own domain. Typical env put your primary at your office inside your firewall, secondary controlled by ISP outside your firewall. Enable DNS on your UNIX box, it free and standard with most UNIX's. -----Original Message----- From: Superintendencia General de Puertos [SMTP:spuertos@multi.net.co] Sent: Wednesday, March 29, 2000 8:46 PM To: Hannes Visagie Cc: Informix List Subject: RE: Slow Connection from clients Do you own a DNS server ??? -----Mensaje original----- De: Hannes Visagie <hvisagie@mibco.org.za> Para: 'KuKi' <bertoni_TOGLIMI_@tecnest.it>; informix-list@iiug.org <informix-list@iiug.org> Fecha: miercoles 29 de marzo de 2000 02:40 Asunto: RE: Slow Connection from clients >This is typical a name service lookup delay.
